HOSES FOR MECHANICAL APPLICATIONS

The pipes for mechanical applications find their field of application in the field of machining with machine tools through chip removal.
The wide range of sizes available, with diameters from 21.3 to 812 mm and thicknesses from 4 to 120 mm, allows you to create multiple types of components for different sectors: small mechanical parts, flanges and fittings, augers and rollers, hydraulic cylinders for machinery heavy, etc.

They can be both seamless and welded, forgotten; seamless or SS pipes for mechanical applications, are supplied as normal stock with double marking E355 – EN 10297-1 / S355J2H – EN 10210-1 / 2, thus allowing their use also in the structural field, while expanding the range of thicknesses available compared to welded tubulars for structures. The EN 10297-1 standard specifies the technical conditions for the supply of circular section seamless steel pipes.

The forgotten welded are round tubes made by forming and welding with electric resistance without material input (ERW) of a sheet metal tape. The forming process can take place in accordance with EN 10210 in cold with subsequent heat or heat treatment, or in accordance with EN 10219 in cold without subsequent treatments. The finished pipe, in completely killed steel, is forgotten both externally and internally. The field of use of this product refers to the construction of structures, both welded and bolted, in the construction, engineering and industrial construction, transport, motor vehicles, agricultural and earthmoving machinery sectors. Cold formed tubes are particularly suitable for exposed structures or aesthetic uses, considering the typical surface appearance of cold forming.
